ETFE RESIN

PHYSICAL & CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

ETFE is one kind of hypocrystalline and translucent polymer, the crystallinity is approximately 50%~60%, specific gravity is 1.7, and it is the lightest kind of the existing thermoplastic. ETFE has excellent mechanical strength, stiffness and abrasion resistance that makes it rank first among all existing thermoplastic. The melting point of ETFE is 260, upper service temperature range is from 60 to 150, lower service temperature is 230, heat of fusion is more than 300. ETFE provides excellent resistance to attack by the chemicals and solvents that can cause rapid deterioration of other plastics and all but the most costly metal alloys. ETFE is inert to strong mineral acids, inorganic bases, halogens, and metal salt solutions.
